On 15 May 2021 Chris Drake, President of ALIVE, spoke at a Webinar on Character and Moral Education organised by the Center for Advancement in Inclusive and Special Education of the Faculty of Education of The University of Hong Kong and The Asia-Pacific Network for Moral Education. His 30-minute presentation was entitled 'Giving Value to Values Education' and he also gave the Closing Remarks at the conclusion of the half-day event that attracted about 400 registrations and was also transmitted live on Facebook.
The international webinar series explored ways of promoting positive development and well-being of students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants gained insight into methods that foster student's well-being and flourishing through social-emotional learning, existential-positive psychology, character education and moral philosophy, creativity and mindset, and education for meaning. www.wellbeingwebinar.com
