MAY 2024 LVE WEBINAR: 'Curious not Furious: Empowering children to be their brain best'' with Speaker Kit Messenger.
A former headteacher with over 30 years' experience with children and young people, Kit is the founder and co-director of Changing Chances, whose mission is to shift away from typical behaviourist approaches, towards ones which are neuroinclusive.
She co-authored 'Curious Not Furious', and is a tutor and lecturer at Sussex University.
Neuroscience, psychology, education and coaching are combined, as Kit presents a structure and language for children to meet their neurodifferent needs.
She will describe models that equip children with an understanding of their brain and tools to communicate their needs, enabling them to be at their 'brain best.'
