JULY 2023 WEBINAR - Self-leadership in Learning

JULY 2023 LVE WEBINAR: 'Self-leadership in Learning - Embedding values in purposeful learning experiences' with Speaker Professor Ruth Crick.

Ruth's career began as a music teacher. For 15 years, she led a new independent school in Bristol which pioneered the integration of values within the curriculum, the wider culture of the school and its community. She also lobbied effectively in education policy for the growing number of alternative independent schools seeking to 'do things differently'.

Entering academia saw Ruth develop and lead research into the self-assessment of students' learning power, and the values and cultures which create conditions for students self-leadership in their own life and learning. Ruth is Visiting Professor of Learning Analytics at the University of Technology Sydney in Australia.

Now Ruth leads WILD Learning Ltd and its sister Community Interest Company, whose purpose is to make those ideas and practices available globally - in education, business and community. Supported by powerful learning analytics, WILD is gaining traction as a force for change in education, training and professional learning.

Ruth is passionate about social impact. This webinar will provide examples from practice to demonstrate how people, purpose, place and planet interact to provide a powerful vehicle for living our values, and how this vision can be served and scaled through digital learning analytics.
