Educators in schools and refugee camps report a decrease in violence and an increase in self-esteem and problem solving skills as students engage in values activities, cooperation games, learn to deal with peer pressure, and develop cognitive awareness of social justice.

Living Values Education is a partnership among educators around the world. This project is supported by UNESCO, sponsored by the Spanish Committee of UNICEF, Planet Society, and the Brahma Kumaris, in consultation with the Education Cluster of UNICEF (New York). 

The purpose of Living Values Education is to provide guiding principles and tools for the development of the whole person, recognizing that the individual is comprised of physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual dimensions.
