Living Values Education representatives were invited to
attend a symposium in Kingston in March 2003 titled Transforming
Values & Attitudes: Policy Challenges for Jamaican Society. The
Ministry of Information, under the direction of Minister Burchell
Whiteman, former Minister of Education, now recommends Living Values
Education to interested educational institutions and businesses. This
recommendation led to an invitation for LVE trainers to do
values/attitudes training at the Montego Bay local craft markets through
the Urban Development Commission.
