Current Status  -  12th March, 2000

LVE started in 1997. After a formal presentation of the Living Values Guidebook took place, great interest arose in different fields to work with values. LVE was presented to six private schools and one public school which led to piloting in the German school, Maria Inmaculada Catholic School, the American School Saint Andrews. It was at the Catholic School of Maria Inmaculada that LVE had the greatest impact and the school is now taken as an example for the Educational Community.

Inspired by the radical change of attitude of the teachers, students and parents, the school Principal based her thesis for University Master's degree on LVE and received the highest grade and honours. She was asked to share her experience with UNICEF, Educational Organizations and two Universities which then were motivated to implement values in their curricula and different projects and programmes.

The number of teachers trained: about 1243.

Organizational involvement: UNICEF, Educational Reform, Ministry of Education, Universities such as Universidad Santo Tomas, Universidad Catolica, Universidad de Aquino, Government (Inrra) and Kindergarten.
